Can my family use my prescription discount card?
This program is available to everyone but each family member should enroll separately.

What pharmacy can I go to?
All major pharmacy chains accept the card. In fact, nine out of 10 pharmacies participate in this program nationwide.

I am a doctor ordering cards for my patients. Can my office staff use the card as well?
Yes. Everyone is eligible.

What if the pharmacy has trouble processing my prescription?
The pharmacy can call the CVS Caremark Pharmacy Help Line toll-free 1-800-364-6331 or you can call us toll-free at 1-866-761-7786 and we can help.

Is this card different from the Medicare Card?
Yes. The Sun Patient Card is for all patients, not just seniors. It was designed by a physician to be easy for patients to use.

How much does the card cost?
Basic membership in the association is free and includes the discount program. An upgraded association membership is optional, will require a membership fee and will give you access to other programs as they become available.

After I enroll, will you sell my personal information to other companies? I don't want phone or mail solicitors.
Absolutely not. As a healthcare facility, we respect your privacy.

Can I use the card in conjunction with my insurance plan to help with co pays?
As with most medical programs, the Sun Patient Card may NOT be used in conjunction with an insurance or other plan. We have found that a caring pharmacist will run any prescription through the system for each or your plans to determine which plan offers the best price.
